Counterfeit Electronic Parts and Electronic Supply Chain Symposium
"SMTA and CALCE at University of Maryland announce the east coast venue for the Symposium on Counterfeit Electronic Parts and Electronic Supply Chain. The program will be held November 30 – December 2 at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. This symposium will be valuable to senior management, supply chain managers, component engineers, brand protection specialists, inspectors, marketing and procurement policy makers, contracts and legal management, security specialists and government agencies addressing the issue. Our focus is to provide relevant information to the professionals that can be used for solving problems today while planning for a different business and technology environment in the future.
There will be presentations from US DoD, White House Office of IPR, Lockheed Martin, National Semiconductor, GAO, Boeing and others. Several workshops will be available for in-depth training including inspection, material characterization, electrical testing, obsolescence management.
