Imperfect fault coverage is an important factor that can restrict the reliability of a fault-tolerant system. In this paper, a generalized binary decision diagram (BDD)-based approach is presented to evaluate the reliability of a 1-out-of-(n+1) warm standby system subject to fault level coverage. Examples are presented to illustrate the application of the proposed method.
