A Method of Encoding Coordinates on the Paper for Digitizing Handwriting

Abstract:

We have been using paper for more than a thousand years and we are so accustomed to using it. However, digital information is easy to share and manage. It is necessary to digitize the handwriting. This article proposes a method of encoding coordinates on a two-dimensional page for digitizing hand-writing, combining Anoto encoding and nCode encoding. The coding scheme is calibrated based on coordinate relation, and the feasibility of the scheme is verified through experiments.
